FitKid Recreational Class

A fun, energetic FitKid class designed for children who want to develop their gymnastics, dance, strength and movement skills in a positive and supportive environment.

FitKid combines elements of gymnastics, dance, acrobatics, flexibility and fitness, giving children the opportunity to learn new skills while building confidence and having fun.

Children will work at a level appropriate to their age and ability, with exercises and skills adapted so that everyone can progress safely at their own pace.

What will children work on?

• Gymnastics and acrobatic skills
• Cartwheels, rolls, handstands and progressions
• Balance and coordination
• Flexibility and mobility
• Strength and conditioning
• Dance and movement
• Partner and teamwork activities
• Confidence and body awareness

Classes may use equipment including AirTracks, gymnastics mats, AirRolls, balance beams and conditioning equipment.

Who is this class for?

Our Recreational FitKid class is ideal for children who want to enjoy FitKid without the commitment of competition.

No previous gymnastics or dance experience is required — beginners are very welcome, while children with previous experience will be given appropriate progressions and challenges.
